Emergency Response Liberty County Beginner Guide
Emergency Response Liberty County is an open-world emergency services roleplay game where players can work as civilians, criminals, police officers, sheriff deputies, firefighters, paramedics or Department of Transportation workers. Progress is saved across sessions, including owned vehicles, cash and department XP.
Choose a Team
Use the team selection menu to join Civilian, Police, Sheriff, Fire and Rescue or DOT. Civilian is the easiest starting point because it lets you explore the county, learn the roads and earn regular paychecks before handling emergency calls.
Learn the Map and Interface
Open the map and identify the police station, sheriff's office, fire stations, DOT facility, hospital, jail, dealerships, fuel stations and civilian workplaces. Emergency departments receive calls through their MDT, which displays the incident type and location.
Start a Civilian Job
Civilian jobs provide a steady way to earn money while learning the county. Available work includes roles such as farming, hospital work and transportation-related jobs, with job locations marked around the map.
Buy and Manage a Vehicle
Visit a dealership to purchase a civilian vehicle with in-game cash. Vehicle statistics and prices vary, so a reliable entry-level car is more useful for a new player than spending all available cash on a high-performance model.
Understand Crime and Wanted Status
Illegal actions can place a player on the wanted list. Police and Sheriff players can locate, pursue and arrest wanted suspects, while arrested players are transported to jail and temporarily removed from normal civilian activity.
Complete Your First Department Call
Join an emergency department, open the MDT and select a nearby call. Drive safely to the scene, use the department's correct tools and finish every required objective before leaving.
Earn Department XP
Department XP is earned by completing team objectives such as arrests, fire suppression, medical treatment, repairs and towing. Higher ranks unlock additional vehicles, equipment, uniforms and department features.
Use a Simple First-Session Route
Begin as a civilian, take a job, explore the main roads, purchase or spawn a basic vehicle and visit each department building. After learning the map, join one emergency team and complete several nearby calls to begin earning XP.
Quick Tips
- Police and Sheriff focus on law enforcement, while Fire and Rescue handles fire, medical and rescue calls.
- Set a route before activating emergency lights and refuel or recharge before a long patrol.
- Keep enough cash for fuel and a dependable entry-level vehicle before buying performance cars.
- Finish calls completely instead of abandoning them halfway to earn full department XP.
Emergency Response Liberty County Police and Sheriff Guide
The River City Police Department and Liberty County Sheriff's Office share the same main objective: protect the county and respond to criminal activity. Police is designed around city patrol, while Sheriff is designed around county, highway and rural patrol.
Choose the department that matches the area you want to patrol.
- River City Police primarily patrols River City and other urban areas.
- Liberty County Sheriff primarily patrols county roads, highways and rural areas.
- Both departments can respond to calls, pursue criminals, issue citations and make arrests.
- Both departments use department XP to unlock ranks and equipment.
Emergency Response Liberty County Fire Rescue and DOT Guide
Fire and Rescue protects players and property during fires, medical emergencies and rescue incidents. DOT keeps roads open by repairing infrastructure, managing traffic scenes and recovering disabled or wrecked vehicles.
Emergency Response Liberty County Vehicles Guide
Emergency Response Liberty County divides its vehicle fleet across the Civilian, Police, Sheriff, Fire and Rescue, and Department of Transportation teams. Individual vehicles may require cash, department XP, a higher rank or a related gamepass, while emergency vehicles can also provide department equipment, warning lights and specialized scene functions.

- Supported vehicles offer appearance or equipment customization.
- Private servers with the Custom Livery Pack can use approved department liveries.
Recommendation
Prioritize function over appearance: buy the vehicle needed for your most frequently played role before collecting cosmetic alternatives.
Emergency Response Liberty County Money and Rank Up Guide
Cash is used for vehicles and other purchases, while department XP unlocks higher ranks, equipment and team vehicles. Civilian jobs provide an accessible starting route, and Police, Sheriff, Fire and Rescue, and DOT players progress by completing actions connected to their department.
Start with a Reliable Civilian Job
Civilian- Join the Civilian team and select an available job.
- Use straightforward jobs such as farmer or hospital worker while learning the map.
- Complete the job's normal tasks instead of driving around without an active objective.
- Repeat a short route that does not require an expensive vehicle.
Keep Early Vehicle Costs Low
Civilian- Use an affordable vehicle with predictable handling.
- Avoid buying several similar vehicles before establishing regular income.
- Keep enough cash available for the vehicle or equipment needed by your preferred team.
- Upgrade only when the new purchase improves your job or response efficiency.
Complete Police and Sheriff Actions
Police and Sheriff- Respond to active dispatch calls and reported crimes.
- Use traffic stops and investigations to identify wanted players.
- Complete valid arrests and transport suspects when required.
- Stay involved until the call or pursuit is resolved.
Finish Fire and Medical Calls
Fire and Rescue- Select apparatus that matches the reported emergency.
- Travel to the marked incident and use the required scene equipment.
- Complete fire, rescue or medical objectives before leaving.
- Return to service and accept another available call.
Handle DOT Service Calls
Department of Transportation- Respond to roadside, repair and transportation-related incidents.
- Bring the service vehicle or equipment suited to the task.
- Complete the repair, recovery or traffic-control objective.
- Use former Construction Job vehicles through the DOT team where available.
Focus on One Department Rank
All Departments- Choose the department whose vehicles and equipment you want to unlock first.
- Remain on that team for several completed calls instead of frequently changing roles.
- Prioritize completed objectives over simply spending time in a department vehicle.
- Review newly unlocked vehicles and equipment after each rank increase.
